BOE Launches Surveys

The Gilmer County Board of Education is actively engaged in the process of selecting a new Superintendent.

Planning for the search began on August 26, 2026. The Board has partnered with Georgia Leadership Associates to serve as consultants throughout the process. A vacancy notice was released on August 27 th , with an application deadline set for September 25, 2026.

As part of the selection process, the Board is launching an online survey to gather input. The Board strongly encourages all stakeholders to participate, as the feedback gathered will play a key role in guiding its decision.

Board members will carefully review all survey responses. Your input is valued and appreciated. Survey information will be posted the district website.
